Bulk Scene Actions

When you need to change the visibility of several scenes at once or delete a batch, deFlex provides multi-select and a bulk action bar.

Selecting scenes​

There are several ways to select scenes:

  • Click a scene while holding Shift -- toggles that scene's selection on or off without affecting other selections.
  • Right-click the background and choose Select All -- selects every scene currently visible in the list (respecting any active search filter). Choosing the same item again deselects all.
  • Escape key -- pressing Escape at any time clears the entire selection.

Selected scenes are visually highlighted. In list view, each row also has a checkbox-style selection indicator.

Changing the search query, sort order, or view mode automatically clears the current selection.

Bulk action bar​

As soon as one or more scenes are selected, a sticky toolbar appears at the bottom of the scene list. The left side shows the count (e.g., "3 selected") and a Deselect all link. The right side offers two action buttons:

Make Public / Make Private​

This button toggles the visibility of all selected scenes. The label adapts to the current state of the selection:

  • If every selected scene is already public, the button reads Make Private and will switch them all to private.
  • Otherwise, the button reads Make Public and will switch them all to public.

After the operation completes, the selection is cleared automatically.

Delete​

Opens a confirmation dialog that names the number of scenes to be deleted (e.g., "Delete 3 scenes?"). The dialog warns that deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Confirm with Proceed or cancel with No, do not delete. On confirmation, the scenes are deleted and the selection is cleared.

Both buttons are disabled while a bulk operation is in progress to prevent double-clicks.

Right-click context menu on selected scenes​

When multiple scenes are selected, right-clicking any selected scene card opens a context menu with the same bulk actions:

  • Delete N Scenes -- opens the same delete confirmation dialog.
  • Make Public / Make Private -- same visibility toggle as the bulk bar.
  • Deselect All -- clears the selection.
